Family Reconnection Program

Incarceration separates not just individuals from society โ€” it separates families. Children lose parents. Parents lose children. Marriages fracture. The damage often outlasts the sentence.

Our Family Reconnection Program works on both sides of the prison wall:

INSIDE:
โ–  Structured family visitation coordination
โ–  Letter-writing and communication facilitation
โ–  Recorded video messages for children
โ–  Family counseling sessions (inmate + family together)
โ–  Parenting classes and father/mother skills workshops

OUTSIDE:
โ–  Support groups for spouses and caregivers of incarcerated individuals
โ–  School fee assistance for children of inmates
โ–  Food and household support for vulnerable families
โ–  Psychosocial counseling for children affected by parental incarceration

In 2023, we facilitated 1,240 family visits and supported 380 families through our external assistance program.

Family is not a privilege. It is the anchor that rehabilitation holds onto.
