Inmates released without support face homelessness, unemployment, social stigma, and the gravitational pull of old environments and associations. Without intervention, recidivism rates in Nigeria exceed 60%.

Our Reintegration Program begins 90 days before release and continues for 12 months afterward:

PRE-RELEASE:
■ Career counseling and employment planning
■ Documentation support (NIN, bank accounts, certificates)
■ Family reconciliation sessions
■ Goal-setting and financial literacy workshops

POST-RELEASE:
■ 30-day transitional accommodation support
■ Employment placement with partner businesses
■ Business starter grants for vetted entrepreneurs
■ Ongoing monthly check-ins with a dedicated case manager
■ Access to alumni peer support network

Among program participants tracked over 24 months, our reintegration graduates show a 78% reduction in reoffending compared to the national average.
